How many writers does it take to change a light bulb?

Depends on the lightbulb.
But we'll always give it a good twist at the end.

Looking for a gritty lightbulb drama?
A half hour candlestick comedy?
A flame torched thriller?
Or something else
We are a creative collective, based in Berlin and Cologne,
who specializes in crafting pretty good ideas
and cross-genre stories for film and television.

Why not great ideas?
Good question, simple answer –  we want you onboard for that.

To turn good ideas into great films and series,
we want to work with kick ass producers, directors, film folks
and TV trailblazers who share our passion for exciting storytelling.

Are you guys certified story electricians?
Fuck yes. We are all graduates from the
Serial Storytelling and Digital Narratives MA programs at ifs film school in Cologne.
While we come from different countries, backgrounds and genres we are all powered
by a burning desire of bringing pretty good ideas to screens of all shapes and sizes.
Together we have collaborated on several projects, and we work well in teams of either two or all seven of us.

July Rodriguez is an audiovisual developer and a graphic designer with a strong research-creation approach she uses to build consistent characters and story worlds. Her knowledge on branding, interactive narratives, and new production formats in Latin America led to the pilot of an interactive web serial, to the opportunity to live in India, and to working with various clients. Nourishing her research and writing skills in the MA Serial Storytelling, she has co-created several serialized projects she is currently working on.

Michel Kiwic
Pretty Good Writer

Michel Kiwic started his career in front of the TV watching Disney Channel. Later he became a primary school teacher, whereupon he met a girl who was into movies. Michel made a BA in documentary film instead of illustration and then worked at the national TV station in Switzerland. He made machines out of trash, learned how to drive trucks and now obtained a MA in Serial Storytelling. He recently started his own company called TOMORROW, has a motion capture studio in Zürich and can now produce what he truly loves: rated R animation.

Roma Raju
Pretty Good Writer

I’m a mediocre software engineer turned amateur photographer turned pretty good movie assistant director turned foolish creative producer of big failed ideas turned serial storytelling student from India. All I can tell you is that I happen to have an extraordinary collection of bottled stories in the basement for every occasion. I enjoy building elaborate story worlds with an endless scope for conflict. I write, not to escape to an imaginary world, but to understand this one.

Ljubica Lukovic
Pretty Good Writer

Ljubica Luković was born in Serbia, a beautiful third world country in the middle of Europe, where she got a dramaturgy degree. Even though her parents warned her there’s no money in art, she has successfully supported herself since graduation by working for film festivals, doing script coverage, and writing comedy sketches and sitcoms for Serbian TV. While she awaits the filming of her first feature (“How I learned to fly”, a dramedy for children, Sense production), she's developing a black comedy series “Otto is Dead” with H&V entertainment.
